Multiple Intelligence

The theory of multiple intelligences was developed in 1983 by Dr. Howard Gardner. He is the professor of education at Harvard University. Howard Gardner initially formulated a list of seven intelligences.  Linguistic intelligence means you can effectively use language and deals with words. Logical-mathematical intelligence consists of analyzing problems logically. Musical intelligence involves skill in performance and composition. Bodily-kinesthetic intelligence involves using ones whole body to solve problems. Spatial intelligence uses patterns of wide space and confined areas. Interpersonal intelligence  is concerned with the intentions and desires of other people. Intrapersonal intelligence consists of dealing with oneself feelings and motivations. I think the intelligence I use is logical-mathematical intelligence because I usually do well in math. The other intelligence that I think I would be is Intrapersonal intelligence because I seem to analyze myself and intentions I have. My scores for intelligence were Linguistic 11/25, Kinaesthetic 9/25, Logical 19/25, Interpersonal 15/25, Intrapersonal 16/25, Musical 14/25, visual/spatial 13/25, Naturalistic 7/25. No, I am not very surprised with the results. The results were pretty much what I expected. Based on the results I would learn best working with numbers. I would teach myself or people like me in a class in a logical way. I would tell a teacher that I am Intrapersonal and logical.  In math classes the teacher teaches to my intelligence because we are working with numbers. Yes the results correlate with the subjects I like best.

My first post

I am Matt and am a junior at Palma high School. The only sport I play is golf and enjoy practicing it and continually getting better. I play for the Palma High golf team and we are great. I am in the Java class. In this class I hope to get a better understanding of computers and become more familiar. I hope handle a computer better by the end of the year. In school my favorite subject is math because it comes easy to me and I dont have much trouble. My least favorite subjects are history and english. After high school I want to go to college and continue playing golf there. I have one brother who is a sophmore in college. The best vacation I ever had in my life is when I went to Italy and Paris, France. It was a great experience. My favorite time of the day is the morning. I enjoy getting my day of to an early start. I like to eat italian food such as lasagna, tortellini, or ravioli. If I could travel any where in the world it would be Hawaii.
